As a member of the CTE community and Advance CTE each state/territory is a member of NOCTI's governing body, the Consortium of States. The Consortium develops broad guidelines for policy-making through its voting membership. The administrative direction and control of NOCTI is vested in the Board of Trustees and the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees by the Consortium of States.
The appropriate State Director, such as the State Director of Career Technical Education, may serve as the Consortium of States representative or may appoint a designee to serve as a member for the state. Membership shall be continuous or may be changed as provided for within the NOCTI Constitution.
Nominate at least two subject matter experts (SMEs), and
Purchase a set amount of NOCTI products and/or services.
