NOCTI's Teacher Assessments are designed to measure an individual's knowledge of higher-level concepts, theories and applications in the related occupation. These tests are intended for evaluating individuals with a combination of education, training and work experience.

State Departments of Education, Colleges and Universities can use Teacher Assessments to:

• Assist in fulfilling requirements for teacher certification
• Grant credit or advanced standing in a degree program

Assessment Blueprints are available for all NOCTI Teacher Assessments. Blueprints may be shared with test takers prior to administration of the assessment.
The Blueprints provide an outline of the assessment and include:

• Core competencies and tasks
• Sample questions and jobs
• Administration Information (time, number of questions/jobs. etc.)
