The national average refers to the
average score for all participants
who took an assessment
anywhere in the nation in a
specified time period. NOCTI
computes national averages in
January and July of each year.

What is a Criterion-Referenced Cut Score?
A criterion-referenced cut score
sets the point on a test at which a
participant could be considered a minimally competent candidate,
or one who is sufficiently
competent for a beginning position
in the chosen field.
